“Nanotechnologies – Business – Innovations” Ltd. owns a technology for synthesis of micro polycrystalline diamonds.
The polycrystalline diamonds have a number of advantages over the monocrystalline:
- Higher hardness;
- Multiple cutting edges, resulting in a better polishing performance and a higher degree of fineness;
- "Self-sharpening" abilities – some nanoparticles are getting detached from the crystal during the process forming new cutting edges.
These qualities make them extremely suitable for polishing ultra-solid materials (including natural diamond), composite materials as well as polishing of precision parts and elements in microelectronics, fine mechanics and medical engineering.
We possess two chambers for synthesis with productivity of about 150 000 carats per month for sizes ranging from 0.5 to 20 microns.
